First Post for the New Year
For my first ever post for this year, I would like to share my answers to the guide questions I posted last Thursday:
1. What did I learn? (skills, knowledge, awareness, etc.)
Aside from the bank operations and strategies I learned from my Officer's Development Program last year, I learned the value of friendship, love and sacrifice. True friends will always be there whenever you need them, love can be lost and yet be found at the right time. We need to sacrifice some things in order to gain another.
2. What did I accomplish? A list of my wins and achievements.
I was able to travel to Boracay, had my 2 day vacation there before my ODP Training and I got my promotion. I also found the One. =)
3. What would I have done differently? Why?
I have no regrets in all the things I have done the past year.
4. What did I complete or release? What still feels incomplete to me?
None. =)
5. What were the most significant events of the year past? List the top three.
1. Vacation at Boracay.
2. My ODP Training and being Single at the same time.
3. Crossing paths with Gheoff. =)
6. What did I do right? What do I feel especially good about? What was my greatest contribution?
I feel good being able to surpass all the challenges last year. Imagine how hard it is to study for your final make or break exams for your promotion because your love life is in total disaster. Talk about emotional stress. What did I do right? I faced it heads up, with a strong heart and firm decision. I was able to move on in no time and I was happier than ever. Life has been tough but I was definitely tougher. =)
7. What were the fun things I did? What were the not-so-fun?
Next question please. Hahaha. =)
8. What were my biggest challenges/roadblocks/difficulties?
Same as above.
9. How am I different this year than last?
I am definitely stronger, wiser and more mature.
10. For what am I particularly grateful?
I am grateful that everything went back to normal. 2009 has been a rollercoaster ride for me. There has been many up and down moments. I am lucky because my family and friends are always there to support me. Everything that is happening has a purpose. We may not know it at first but we'll realize it at the end.
It's my Birthday Month! Yey! A year older again. Ready to face the challenges this year. =)
